We are looking for an Inventory Assistant to monitor and maintain accurate and up‑to‑date inventories of all maintenance supplies using a computer. Organize and control the plant parts, materials, and supplies to minimize downtime. Monday–Friday schedule.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in Supply Chain and Procurement and/or Inventory Analysis
  • High School diploma or GED

Responsibilities

  • Receive all incoming freight, tag and input into SAP inventory database
  • Monitor all inventories of parts and daily maintenance supplies; reorder as needed
  • Daily use of SAP — to include but not limited to the following:
  • Enter purchase requisitions
  • Inventory receipts
  • Issue part inventory
  • Assist plant personnel with SAP questions
  • Order tools and all office supplies as neededAssist Inventory Manager in a complete physical audit of inventory prior to yearly auditConduct orientation to all new hires
  • Assist employees with insurance/benefit questions and paperworkPerform backup to the scale technician as needed and help at harvest as needed
  • Backup during Inventory Manager absence
  • Ensure that federal and state regulations pertaining to products are observed and adhered to
  • General administrative dutiesPerform other duties as needed or assigned
