About The Position

The position is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative, marketing, and support for OSHA -authorized training program. This role serves as a critical operational link between instructional delivery, regulatory reporting, outreach, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring that all training activities are accurately documented, effectively promoted, and fully compliant with UTA and OSHA requirements. The incumbent supports the planning, coordination, and execution of in-person, virtual, and contract training programs by managing reporting obligations, course logistics, marketing communications, web content, contact databases, and event coordination. The position also plays a key role in supporting audits, prerequisite verification for trainer-level courses, and data analysis related to course evaluations, cancellations, and program performance. Through close collaboration with instructors, program leadership, and external partners, this role helps maintain the integrity, visibility, and operational excellence of OSHA training programs while contributing to continuous improvement, regulatory readiness, and customer-focused service delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Marketing, Communications, Education, Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • O One (1) or more years of progressively responsible experience in program coordination, training administration, regulatory compliance support, marketing coordination, or higher education/non-credit program operations or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with data collection, reporting, and recordkeeping, including preparation of routine compliance or performance reports requiring accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to established guidelines.
  • Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Marketing, Communications, Education, Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field and experience working with OSHA -authorized training programs, including familiarity with the OSHA Training Institute Education Center ( OTIEC ) administrative and reporting requirements.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards, safety and health training programs, and workforce development initiatives, particularly within higher education, government, or industry-based training.
  • Experience supporting regulatory audits and compliance reviews including preparation of documentation, data validation, and response coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, compile, and submit OSHA -required course delivery reports and supporting documentation.
  • Draft responses for OSHA Training and Education ( OTE ) audits and reviews, ensuring accuracy, completeness, regulatory compliance, and alignment with OTIEC reporting requirements and internal records.
  • Provides operational and fiscal support for OTIEC programs and initiatives by coordinating marketing committee financial activities and budget documentation, supporting logistics for national conferences.
  • Managing the preparation, shipment, and tracking of course materials and compliance documentation to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant delivery for in-person, contract and virtual training programs.
  • Manage and maintain program webpages, including course listings, schedules, descriptions, updates, and compliance notices, to ensure content accuracy, accessibility, and alignment with current offerings and OSHA requirements.
  • Provide administrative and technical support for live webcasts and virtual training, including class setup, participant and instructor communications, distribution of supporting materials, attendance tracking, and completion of required post-training documentation.
  • Maintain, update, and manage contact lists and distribution databases, supporting targeted communications, outreach campaigns, stakeholder engagement, and compliance-related notifications.
  • Consolidate, analyze, and review class climate and course evaluation data, identifying trends, areas for improvement, and actionable insights to support instructional quality, program effectiveness, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide analytical input regarding the impact of course cancellations, including participant issues, enrollment trends, instructor utilization, revenue implications, and recommendations for corrective or preventative actions.
  • Conduct prerequisite verification reviews for trainer courses, validating eligibility, documentation, and compliance with OSHA Outreach Trainer Program requirements.
  • Monitor, distribute, and respond to program mailbox ensuring timely, accurate, and professional communication with participants, instructors, partners, and regulatory stakeholders.
