About The Position

Health Advocates is seeking a Coordinator I for a client hospital site in Westwood, CA. Job Summary Under direct supervision provides moderately complex clerical support within an assigned department. Job responsibilities include: acts as a liaison between the Client and Health Advocates, generate reports on a daily basis, separates and logs incoming mail, enters information into computer database and distribute to appropriate department staff or outside agencies or facilities, when required, receives and sends email requests issued internally or by outside providers, maintains files and records, scans, faxes, copies, and distributes various reports and data, may work with outside agencies or facilities to provide or receive sensitive/confidential case information, process internal reports for system updates, maintains tracking and other company logs, and performs miscellaneous related duties, as required.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required
  • 2 or more years of experience performing moderately complex general office assignments in a government, private, or public service organization
  • Previous experience generating computer reports utilizing Microsoft Excel
  • Basic Excel skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of employee and clients
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and with others
  • Strong data entry skills
  • Ability to adapt and manage change in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to type 35 wpm
