As a Coordinator I in Pediatric Behavioral Health, you play a vital role in the organization and daily management of your assigned department. In this position, you support a variety of operational functions, including preparing reports, recommending team development initiatives, managing schedules, and coordinating special activities. Your contributions directly improve workflow and efficiency, positively impacting the quality and delivery of patient care. A caregiver in this position works 8:00am—5:00pm.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED and two years of experience OR Bachelor’s Degree
  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
  • Ability to operate a computer and other office and laboratory equipment
  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate department project activities.
  • Develop department resource databases to facilitate management of various project activities.
  • Coordinate department scheduling of individuals, resources and activities.
  • Coordinate administrative activities for the department (e.g., coordinating resources, timing and activities).
  • Manage department schedule for key activities.
  • Ensure that administrative support is provided as needed.
  • Participate on project teams and build competency around specific department tools and methods for organizational performance improvement.
  • Maintain data, develop databases and complete analysis.
  • Provide reports and prepare charts, presentations or summary data.
