About The Position

This position assists Senior Director of Advancement with implementing a comprehensive, metrics-driven annual giving plan and supports targeted fundraising initiatives. The Annual Giving Coordinator will collaborate closely with the advancement team to coordinate a comprehensive fundraising plan each year providing short-term and long-term vision to this essential development function. This position supports all aspects of the Annual Giving program which is foundational for advancing Fulcrum’s mission. The Annual Giving Coordinator is a member of the Advancement Team and works directly and collaboratively with members of this team, assisting with events and initiatives as needed, in support of departmental goals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following: Supports implementation of the Fulcrum annual fundraising plan and calendar to achieve measurable goals Supports all aspects of the annual giving program that leverages various communication channels to reach potential and current donors including direct mail, email, phone, and social media campaigns Coordinates with internal stakeholders and team members to assist with targeted fundraising initiatives for specific programs and needs in collaboration with the leadership team Maintains donor records and provides daily gift and data entry. Processes online donations, makes donation deposits, and reconciles accounts/funds with Fulcrum’s accounting team. Perform all updates to donor records including researching to fill gaps in data. Acknowledges gifts and engages with donors to cultivate long-term relationships and stewardship In partnership with the Sr. Director of Advancement, drafts solicitations, acknowledgment letters, and personalized notes and thank you letters and invoices to donors Helps develop strategies for new donor acquisition Promote a monthly giving program Prepares yearend tax statements for all donors by Jan 31st each year. Manages matching gift program and workplace giving opportunities. Collaborates with the Senior Director of Advancement to identify major gift prospects Promote the importance of annual giving to the community. Collaborates with the Graphic Design Manager and Marketing Manager to effectively market strategic initiatives and programs within the Annual Fund. Supports Fulcrum’s Celebration of Light event including day-of event activities, fundraising planning efforts leading up to the event, and timely gift entry and processing following the event. Conducts prospect research as needed. Seeks grants and partnerships in collaboration with the Senior Advancement Director. Support the management of sponsorships for Fulcrum events. Assists with DAF gifts, stock giving, and other giving tools. Responds to the many less tangible needs of donors and volunteers. Pivots and shifts priorities as needed and as requested. Additional duties that arise and are deemed necessary. The Annual Giving Coordinator should be an innovative individual who provides reliable coordination within the area of Annual Giving; who has a deep passion for advancing Catholic education; and who models professionalism and integrity. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience preferably in annual giving, with a proven track record
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build relationships with donors and colleagues
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Proficient in database management and experience with fundraising software, preferably Raiser's Edge and Greater Giving
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring seamless and error-free execution and quality control.
  • Demonstrated project and organizational skills and a history of successfully delivering projects
  • Knowledge of Catholic Church teachings and traditions
  • Ability to inspire, positively influence, and engage donors
  • A self-starter
  • Excellent time management and organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines and deliver quick turnaround in an environment demanding high energy, attention to accuracy and detail, discretion, flexibility, and superior work
  • Strong writing, editing, analytic, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner, to tactfully handle stressful situations, and negotiate and resolve conflicts while observing organizational protocols
  • Demonstrated customer service skills with exceptional relationship management skills

  • Experience with data entry and data management; expertise with Raisers Edge and Greater Giving preferred
  • Familiarity with a range of digital fundraising tools (giving forms, prospects research tools, etc.) is advantageous
  • Excellent use of Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Teams)
  • Keen aesthetic sense, with the ability to implement Fulcrum’s brand throughout all work with polish
