The location in Cross City, (Florida, United States), is seeking talent to fill the position of Coordinator, Health & Safety. This job is full-time permanent. We are looking for someone eager to join our team to manage the day-to-day Health and Safety responsibilities at our Sawmill in Cross City, Florida. Requirements

High School diploma or GED.
5 years experience of related work experience.
OSHA 10 and/or 30 certification
Self starter
Excellent communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office.

Nice To Haves

Background in high production mills a plus.

Responsibilities

Train new employees in all aspects of safety.
Perform, evaluate and follow-up on safety inspections; offer recommendations for improvement.
Plan and conduct annual safety training.
Maintain records required by State Air and Water permits.
Provide safety training for contractors and vendors.
Examine and monitor waste hauling invoices.
Plan and prepare Safety Committee activities.
Order, organize and distribute safety supplies including PPE.
Preform other duties as assigned.
