About The Position

The responsibilities for this position would focus on the overall student experience in the PHC living-learning community - including a first-year experience, regular programming for community-building, and orientation events. This is integral to the mission of the College. The position will design and coordinate a variety of programs and events that promote community, engagement, and personal development among Honors students.

Requirements

Considerable knowledge of effective customer service and problem resolution techniques.
Demonstrated ability to build rapport with prospects, students, and customers and to provide timely, accurate information.
Considerable experience in student affairs, event management, student success, or related areas.

Nice To Haves

Considerable experience working with high-achieving student populations in a university setting.
Familiarity with event management software and student engagement platforms.
Considerable experience designing programs that facilitate first-year transition and community integration.
Considerable experience supporting new student onboarding, orientation, or transition programs.
Understanding of student development theories and engagement models.
