About The Position

Primary purpose: Tallgrass Energy is looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual to support IBM Maximo Management of Change (MOC) processes related to engineering, operations and maintenance activities. This includes responsibilities for ensuring the MOC process is followed and supporting the Engineering team in creating and coordinating MOC related tasks. This role is also responsible for tracking enhancements to the MOC program, workflow development, SOP creation, training and day-to-day support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in business administration, engineering, or a related field, or combination of years of experience and certifications.
  • 5+ years in oil and gas, petrochemical, or refining industry experience, preferably in Engineering or Operations.
  • Intermediate/Advanced proficiency in the Maximo software and workflow development for midstream pipeline operations.
  • Intermediate/Advanced proficiency in the Management of Change processes used in the oil and gas, petrochemical, or refining industries.
  • Relevant Background or exposure to working environments with multiple regulatory jurisdictions and requirements; broad familiarization with PHMSA pipeline safety regulations, OSHA’s Process Safety Management performance standard, et al.
  • Experience with creating or maintaining policies, safe work practices, and understanding the need for critical procedures.
  • Ability to communicate, advocate, and train the workforce with varying skills and competencies on the MoC process.
  • Working knowledge of pre-startup safety reviews (PSSR).
  • Working knowledge of process safety information and data used to safely maintain facility and pipeline operations.
  • Basic understanding of work management systems and mechanical integrity concepts and modifications requiring risk assessment.
  • Basic understanding of various risk management tools (such as PHAs), processes, terminology, and when they are applied.
  • Minimum/Intermediate/Advanced proficiency level in MS Office applications that may include but are not limited to Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers (for travel).

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated direct experience/knowledge in establishing and/or supporting initial programs that either meet the OSHA’s 29 CFR 1910.119 PSM standard or API RP 1173 PSMS. Specifically looking for experience in creating new programs or normalizing initial
  • Experience with Python, JavaScript and MBR (Maximo Business Rules) programming languages is a plus but not required.
  • Experience with mobile form process development and field execution within Maximo Mobile or other applications.
  • program rollouts that require further changes and engagement with the workforce.
  • Demonstrated experience in writing policy and procedures that impact multiple functional groups.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a heavy workload and a vast stakeholder list of varying disciplines and competencies.
  • Six Sigma Greenbelt or higher, ISO certification, and other related certifications gain consideration.
  • Maximo 7.6 certification
  • Working knowledge of Maximo 7.6 functionality including architecture, installation, deployment, integration and development
  • Experience with Application Designer and configuration tools within Maximo product
  • Experience integrating with the major ERP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for tracking enhancements to the MOC program, workflow development, SOP creation, training and day-to-day support.
  • Primary point of contact for support in implementing the Tallgrass MOC program
  • Collect and coordinate changes to the MOC program based on changes to Tallgrass policies and procedures
  • Oversee and execute necessary MOC process improvements, including program updates, enhancements and custom development tasks
  • Support training and implementation of a train-the-trainer framework to create and support Maximo SMEs across stakeholder groups.
  • Create and maintain an MOC training program, including training materials, for a variety users and roles.
  • Collect KPIs to measure program and training effectiveness, and identify process improvements to continuously improve policies, processes, procedures, and the tools.
  • Develop reports to management summarizing the effectiveness of the MOC program
  • Conduct ad hoc and scheduled audit of MOC use, closure timelines and PHMSA compliance
  • Create and maintain an MOC performance management dashboard to track compliance and usage metrics.
  • Provide the necessary administrative support to project managers in high-profile, complex projects and relevant changes to the configuration and operation of new and existing facilities.
  • Prepare quarterly reports to management on the status of the MOC program including use, closure timelines and lessons learned
  • Additional duties will include quality assurance, audit, training, and process improvements
  • Coordinate the testing and implementation of enhancement executed by internal and+ 3 rd -party implementation partners
  • Maintain a regular, dependable attendance and a consistently high level of performance.
