A little bit about our team: In this role, you will sit inside of the Digital Marketing team within the Strategic Marketing department, reporting to the Manager, Digital Marketing. You will work closely with various internal departments (Marketing, Analytics, Creative, Streaming, + more), along with artists, managers, and external partners to create, strategize, and improve opportunities in the marketplace for the entire Warner Records Nashville roster. You will work with an energetic, fast-paced team of people committed to driving awareness and engagement for our artists and their music. Your role: In this role, you’re the liaison between artists and their fans! You help ensure that artists’ social media, email marketing, and more are authentic, high-performing, and engaging by supporting a passionate and creative team. You’ll give your ideas and passion to crafting bespoke campaigns across your assigned roster of artists in partnership with the Manager, Digital Marketing.

Requirements

  • We prefer that you have 1-2 years of experience writing social copy, running social assets, or general social media marketing experience.
  • You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • You have a strong sense of urgency and the ability to handle a high volume of detailed tasks are a must.
  • You’re skilled at prioritizing and organizing tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
  • You’re chronically online, highly creative, love social media, and study trends.
  • You are highly collaborative, love to share ideas, and contribute to a team.
  • You have a student mindset, love to learn, and are open to constructive feedback.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Canva, photo editing, CapCut
  • Familiarity with the Country music genre

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for building social rollouts, content curation, pre-release and release Linkfire URLs, and creative conceptualization for Warner Records Nashville artist and label socials
  • Work with WMX email team to facilitate email marketing sends from start to execution by adding content to Airtable email threads, reviewing and facilitating approvals with artist management teams, and approving live tests
  • You will spearhead the set up of pre and post show tour alert emails and make updates to tour date integration tools as needed
  • Collaborate with web developers in Airtable to add content to label and artists’ websites, including but not limited to news items, videos, music releases, etc.
  • On release nights, you will make sure all web updates go live, artist social banners are flipped, and ensure release Linkfire URLs are up-to-date and functioning properly
  • Submit Basecamp projects for social assets, video teasers, and other digital needs
  • Use Sodatone and other analytics tools and work with the analytics team to help with social database maintenance, social analytics reporting, and sound and trend performance
  • Responsible for management of WRN label socials and email strategy. Maintain calendar and strategic promotion of key events such as important release anniversaries, holidays, award show nominations and wins, and artist birthdays
  • Capture content at company sanctioned events and artist showcases to create recap posts to be shared to WRN socials following the event
  • Must be willing and able to interface directly with artists and managers to train and update them on emerging digital tools, provide them with strategic social recommendations, and advise on engagement standards within all social platforms
  • Stay up-to-date on trends and emerging digital tools, including CapCut templates, Canva Pro templates, etc., and provide creative ways to optimize these tools across artist and label social profiles
  • You will assist the Digital Marketing Manager in submitting TikTok mapping requests and allow listing requests across platforms
  • Work with Digital Marketing Manager to coordinate promotional graphics, short links, and prize fulfillment for all artist and label sweepstakes
