About The Position

Join Forterro’s international shared Cloud Operations team and help run, automate, and improve our SaaS infrastructure. In this role, you'll work on designing, deploying, and administering our customer‑facing cloud platforms, ensuring high availability, performance, and an excellent customer experience. You’ll also contribute to technical leadership by promoting best practices and minimizing downtime across all environments.

Requirements

  • 1–3+ years in CloudOps, DevOps, NOC, SysAdmin, Technical Support, or Cloud Engineering.
  • Experience with AWS and cloud‑native environments.
  • Working knowledge of AWS, Linux, and basic networking.
  • Familiarity with containers, Kubernetes, and cloud‑native services (Pub/Sub, FaaS, etc.).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI).
  • Scripting/automation skills: Terraform, Ansible, Python, YAML, PowerShell.
  • Understanding of IaC concepts (Terraform or CloudFormation).
  • Ability to read/modify YAML, Helm, or ArgoCD configurations.
  • Comfortable with Git workflows.
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog).
  • Ability to work with SLO/SLI expectations.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; ability to follow technical runbooks.
  • Ability to propose simple, low‑risk solutions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and cross-team collaboration.
  • Understanding of Agile ways of working.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and automate applications, servers, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Perform routine AWS and Kubernetes administration, patching, and backups (Veeam, Velero, Kasten).
  • Deploy using GitOps (ArgoCD) and support CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI).
  • Execute runbooks and automate repetitive operational tasks.
  • Configure monitoring and observability tools.
  • Monitor platform health in Grafana, Datadog, and Prometheus; handle alerts and initial triage.
  • Troubleshoot L1/L2 issues across cloud, systems, network, and applications.
  • Prioritize incidents effectively and participate in on‑call rotations for critical events.
  • Maintain infrastructure security and compliance.
  • Support AWS platform governance and contribute to cloud cost optimization.
  • Work closely with internal teams, clients, and partners.
  • Promote best practices and support customer SaaS deployments.
  • Evaluate new technologies and produce reports.
  • Maintain clear documentation, diagrams, and operational guidelines.
