The primary function of this position is to read, interpret, and complete K–12 National School Lunch bid contracts and RFPs. This involves collaborating with various departments to gather necessary information, verifying Tyson’s product availability and contract compliance, drafting letters, securing signatures, and compiling company policies for bid submission. The role also includes evaluating requested products to ensure they meet bid contract specifications and accurately entering pricing into bid contract forms. Key responsibilities extend to maintaining records of frequently used bid materials, ensuring data accuracy in all external third-party bidding systems, submitting renewal and non-renewal letters, and managing all bid contract-related correspondence. The Coordinator Bid is also responsible for informing other departments of their obligations to maintain bid contract compliance. This position requires uploading signed state participation agreements to a shared drive and signed bid contracts into the Contract Management System (CMS). Additionally, the role involves completing State Participation Agreements for conducting USDA commodity reprocessing business in each participating state.
