Under the direction of the Admitting Supervisor and with the assistance from the designated Admit Nurse/House Supervisor, establishes and maintains the viability of the hospital by recording admission requests to the hospital and making a bed assignment. Requirements
- Experience in an acute hospital admitting / business office environment.
- Experience in communicating with the public.
- Working knowledge of Medical Terminology.
- HS or equivalent required
- Typing 40 WPM.
- Experience using computers, multiline phones, faxes, copiers, printers.
- Basic Life Support

- Some college preferred.
