About The Position

The Office for Prospective Students at the University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for a Coordinator, Admissions and Recruitment based in Las Vegas . This position is responsible for recruiting admissible students from Southern Nevada and select out-of-state markets, with an emphasis on diversity and academic excellence. The Coordinator implements recruitment strategies developed by the Office for Prospective Students and serves as a representative of the University at a variety of outreach and recruitment events. In this role, the Coordinator engages prospective students and their families by providing information about the admissions process, transfer and enrollment pathways, and available financial aid opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and two (2) years of related work experience OR Master’s Degree and one (1) year of related work experience.
  • Related Experience: work experience in higher education and/or financial aid or related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Recruiting admissible students from Southern Nevada and select out-of-state markets
  • Implementing recruitment strategies developed by the Office for Prospective Students
  • Serving as a representative of the University at a variety of outreach and recruitment events
  • Engaging prospective students and their families by providing information about the admissions process, transfer and enrollment pathways, and available financial aid opportunities.
