About The Position

The coordinator will support executive leadership in executing key meetings, events, communication pieces, and project plans that support the overall district strategy and advancement of our Focused Outcomes. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive, and strategic thinker who has strengths in visual communication and meeting planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • At least 3 years of project management, strategic planning, event/meeting planning, or executive support, preferably in an educational or public-sector environment
  • Strong visual communication skills with proficiency in digital design and presentation tools
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • Organization, data-based decision making and problem solving
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, coordinate multiple projects at one time, and deal with complex issues.
  • Managing ambiguity by being flexible and quickly making changes to existing plans and products

Responsibilities

  • Design meeting materials for executive leaders that advance strategic initiatives and priorities, including presentations, handouts, and agendas.
  • Assist in the executive of district events by supporting planning teams, designing runs of show, coordinating logistics, and creating meeting visuals and materials.
  • Support the development of the superintendent’s quarterly self-evaluation to the Board of Education.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of annual or ad hoc strategic planning meetings with Chiefs, principals, and other key teams. May facilitate small groups, focus teams or other stakeholder feedback and information gathering events.
  • Support in tracking the timely execution of projects by coordinating between multiple teams and providing guidance on process improvements.
