About The Position

The Clinical Education & Regulatory Compliance Coordinator is responsible for supporting clinical training programs and ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple clinical sites in Indiana and Michigan. This role plays a key part in coordinating educational initiatives, maintaining audit-ready documentation, and ensuring adherence to standards set by regulatory bodies including The Joint Commission, Rural Health Clinics (RHC), Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and others. Requirements

  • Current RN license required
  • 1-2 years of experience in healthcare compliance preferred.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and learning management systems.
  • Certification in CPR.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Nursing, Health Sciences, or related field is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a multi-site healthcare organization.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support clinical education programs, onboarding, and ongoing training for staff.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of compliance-related training materials.
  • Track and report compliance metrics and training completion rates.
  • Support train-the-trainer sessions and validate clinical competencies under supervision.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Assist in preparing documentation for audits, inspections, and surveys.
  • Participate in internal audits and readiness assessments.
  • Serve as a liaison during audits and inspections, providing necessary documentation and support.
  • Stay current with changes in healthcare regulations and recommend updates to policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for compliance audits and inspections.
  • Prepare reports and summaries for leadership as requested.
  • Attends and participates in department meetings and is accountable for all information shared.
  • Completes mandatory education, annual competencies and department specific education within established timeframes.
  • Completes annual employee health requirements within established timeframes.
  • Maintains license/certification, registration in good standing throughout fiscal year.
  • Direct patient care providers are required to maintain current BCLS (CPR) and other certifications as required by position/department.
  • Consistently utilizes appropriate universal precautions, protective equipment, and ergonomic techniques to protect patient and self.
  • Adheres to regulatory agency requirements, survey process and compliance.
  • Complies with established organization and department policies.
  • Available to work overtime in addition to working additional or other shifts and schedules when required.
