About The Position

As a Machine Technician you will be responsible for maintenance and upkeep of the coolant tank system. Must be a self-starter, a good manager of time, work independently and follow company policy standards for safety and conduct.

Requirements

• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Mechanically inclined
• Demonstrated ability to meet demanding deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a team member to accomplish objectives.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated ability in industrial maintenance

Responsibilities

• Maintain coolant recovery system, Smart Skim
• Monitor coolant percentages in Smart Skim/CNC equipment
• Maintain coolant tanks and coolant pumps
• Maintain and repair chip conveyors and parts conveyor
• Sump and clean coolant tanks
• Maintain bag filter by cleaning and changing filter as required
• Maintain PM schedule
• Coolant testing
• Ability to perform a minimum of 50% of all the PMs in the machine shop
• Safely driving a forklift with light loads at ground level.
• Ensure that all safety requirements are always followed.
