Cook - Garden Cafe - Part Time - Day Shift - Weekends/Holidays In this production role, for the Garden Cafe, you will produce food and operate new and innovative stations, such as paninis, and additional breakfast offerings to complement our popular omelet station. You'll prepare meals for patients, employees, and visitors in accordance with established food preparation procedures. In addition, prep, cook, and plate food while adhering to regulatory and food safety guidelines. Be responsible for batch cooking to include following recipes and specifications, using correct methods of preparation and equipment for meats, vegetables, eggs, and other breakfast and lunch items, as assigned. You will monitor temperature of all cold/hot foods for quality assurance. This is a part time position, working 5:30am-1:30pm, including every weekend/holiday and 1 weekday. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One to three years of related experience (e.g., healthcare, banquet, catering services, restaurant, corporate setting).
  • Ability to read, speak and follow oral and written instructions in English.

Nice To Haves

  • Graduate from a formal technical school specializing in high-volume cooking, or has equivalent culinary experience.
  • Experience in the preparation of high-quality hot and cold food.
