Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • 3 years of experience in healthcare, hospitality, or service environment preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and disinfection standards
  • Enthusiastic, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
  • Friendly, professional, and well-groomed demeanor

Nice To Haves

  • Culinary arts experience preferred
  • CPR, First Aid, and ServSafe certifications preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present meals that are appealing, nutritious, and resident-focused
  • Follow proper food handling and sanitation practices at all times
  • Assist with meal service and clearing tables during mealtimes
  • Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and work areas
  • Maintain a safe environment by keeping kitchen and dining areas clean
  • Communicate menu feedback, concerns, or suggestions to staff and residents
  • Follow infection control, foodborne illness prevention, chemical safety, and fire safety procedures
