About The Position

Roxbury is recruiting for a full-time Cook to work in our Dietary Department. The hours are between 6 am and 6 pm with every other weekend rotation. There is a $500 sign-on bonus for this position. Located in Shippensburg, PA., our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. We also have two substance use disorder outpatient offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • ServeSafe certification is preferred. This training will be offered if the employee is not already ServeSafe certified.
  • Valid Drivers License with a safe driving record

Responsibilities

  • Prepares food and dessert items according to standard recipes.
  • Must have knowledge of the menu and products used in the dietary department.
  • Serves meals to patients, staff and visitors in a courteous manner with consideration to dietary needs.
  • Maintains and cleans assigned areas including kitchen, dining rooms, storage and receiving areas in a clean, orderly and attractive condition providing a suitable environment for patients and staff.
  • Assists in ordering of supplies and food products and completes weekly inventory of items.
