About The Position

Roxbury is recruiting for a full-time Cook to work in our Dietary Department. The hours are between 6 am and 6 pm with every other weekend rotation. There is a $500 sign-on bonus for this position. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
ServeSafe certification is preferred. This training will be offered if the employee is not already ServeSafe certified.
Valid Drivers License with a safe driving record

Responsibilities

Prepares food and dessert items according to standard recipes.
Must have knowledge of the menu and products used in the dietary department.
Serves meals to patients, staff and visitors in a courteous manner with consideration to dietary needs.
Maintains and cleans assigned areas including kitchen, dining rooms, storage and receiving areas in a clean, orderly and attractive condition providing a suitable environment for patients and staff.
Assists in ordering of supplies and food products and completes weekly inventory of items.
