About The Position

Preston Pointe Retirement Community is a premier senior living community located in Morrisville, NC. We offer a luxurious and caring environment for independent living retirees, ensuring personalized service and a variety of upscale amenities and activities. We are seeking a dependable and dedicated cook to join our team at Preston Pointe. The ideal candidate will have a passion for preparing nutritious meals for the senior population and demonstrates a commitment to high standards of food quality, safety, and kitchen cleanliness. This role involves planning and preparing meals according to established menus, following dietary guidelines, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. The cook will also collaborate closely with the dining room staff to ensure timely and efficient meal service, contributing to a positive dining experience for our residents.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age
2-3 years of professional cooking experience greatly preferred
Culinary school certification preferred but not required
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
Successful background check
Pre-employment physical and drug test
