About The Position

Palm Bar is a vibrant, coastal-inspired pool bar and restaurant located in the heart of Star Farms. We pride ourselves on scratch-made, elevated bar food using local and seasonal ingredients. As part of a growing culinary operation, our cooks are key players in delivering high-quality food in a fun, fast-paced environment. We are seeking passionate, dependable, and skilled cooks to join our culinary team. This is a hands-on role that requires flexibility, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in kitchen operations, with the ability to learn, grow, and support various stations as needed.

Requirements

1–3 years of kitchen experience preferred (but not required—we’ll train the right candidate).
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Ability to follow recipes, prep lists, and direction from supervisors.
Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
Work efficiently and cleanly on the assigned station, including pantry, fry, grill, or sauté.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and utensils.
Follow all food safety and hygiene standards.
Receive and store deliveries, ensuring proper rotation and labeling of products.
Communicate clearly and professionally with fellow team members and leadership.
Support other stations and assist teammates as needed during busy service periods.
Be punctual, prepared, and ready to work in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
