About The Position

We are currently looking for an experienced Cook to join our Team for our Garden Grille & Bar! Our Hilton Garden Inn is located just off I-4, two miles from Universal Orlando Resort. We provide scheduled free shuttle to Universal Parks. Orange County Convention Center and various corporate offices are within four miles. With 158 guest rooms, our hotel has a full service restaurant, The Garden Grille & Bar that serves breakfast, dinner, and drinks. We are home to the well-known Tiki Bar where guests enjoy Florida weather outdoors by our Fire Pit. The Hilton Garden Inn is one of the 50 hotel properties owned and managed by the award-winning hotel management company, Buffalo Lodging Associates. The Cook position is full time and it is for the PM Shift - 3pm to 11pm.Our Cooks must have cook experience and be able to prepare and follow the menus required by the Hilton Garden Inn brand (hot el restaurant setting experience required).

Requirements

Previous experience as a line cook and able to prepare plated food and follow required menus. Experience preparing food and setting for small to medium banquets.
Culinary education and a minimum of a High School diploma.
2-3 Years Cook Experience
Previous hotel setting experience is desirable.
Excellent customer service skills.
Good verbal and written skills to communicate with our guests as well as the co-workers
Reliability and attention to detail is a must
