About The Position

Cooks' primary duties include battering chicken and seafood, frying, and monitoring holding times for fried products. They are also responsible for stocking the sandwich area, preparing and packaging sandwiches, baking and dressing biscuits, and heating prepared products for the front line. Cooks assist in filling and packaging orders and are expected to monitor and correct the cleanliness of the restaurant. The role requires a friendly, enthusiastic attitude, a caring attitude for guests and fellow crew members, and adherence to the company’s operational quality and cleanliness standards. Candidates should be able to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment and maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Batter (chicken and seafood)
  • Fries and monitors holding times of chicken, seafood, fries, and any other fried products
  • Turns and pulls product past holding time
  • Stock sandwich area
  • Prepare and package sandwiches
  • Bake and dress biscuits
  • Heat inserts of prepared products for the front line
  • Assist in filling and packaging orders
  • Monitor and correct cleanliness of the restaurant
  • Exhibit a friendly, enthusiastic attitude while performing job assignments
  • Show a caring attitude for guests and fellow crew members
  • Maintain the company’s operational quality and cleanliness standards
