Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 1-3 months of related experience in a professional kitchen or equivalent training.
  • We're also willing to train enthusiastic individuals with a strong passion for food!
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
  • Food Safety and Sanitation Training/Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Culinary Creation: Prepare high-quality food items according to recipes and production plans, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
  • Resourceful Cooking: Utilize whole food products efficiently, minimizing waste and maximizing flavor.
  • Kitchen Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment, adhering to all food safety regulations.
  • Proactive Communication: Alert the chef or supervisor promptly about any equipment malfunctions, food overages, or shortages.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition inventory and receive supplies as needed for daily production.
  • Proper Storage: Ensure proper storage of food items, including wrapping, dating, and rotating products to maintain freshness and quality.
  • Safe Practices: Adhere to all safe work practices and procedures.
