About The Position

Proof of the Pudding is the exclusive food & beverage provider at Road Atlanta. The on-site fast, casual dining restaurant is hiring for shifts on Thursdays-Sundays. These positions offer competitive pay, leadership opportunities, and flexible weekend schedules. Road Atlanta is host to, and has working opportunities for major events like Motul Petit Le Mans, Drift Atlanta, and the The Mitty. Cooks and Prep Cooks will be instrumental in the day to day operations of the restaurant back of house and kitchen. This position will report to the Executive Chef in their kitchen.

Requirements

  • Short order/restaurant experience is preferred – on the job training will be provided
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • General knowledge of cooking temperatures, kitchen equipment, and food preparation processes
  • Ability to perform physical tasks; such as but not limited to, lifting approx. 30 lbs.
  • 1+ year of experience working in a kitchen, experience in catering is preferred.
  • Must have knowledge of food preparation/food service with a strong understanding of the execution of BEOs, reading production sheets, and completing tasks.
  • Capable of producing a consistent product in a timely manner and in high volume.

  • Adherence to Company Uniform Requirements outlined in the Associate Handbook, uniform requirements outlined in your orientation guidelines.

  • Bending, lifting, scooping, and carrying miscellaneous equipment and food items
  • Ability to perform physical tasks; such as but not limited to, lifting approx. 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper safety and sanitation of all kitchen/food service areas
  • Implement creative menu items that adhere to the Proof of the Pudding standard
  • Maintaining the highest level of service
  • Assisting with inventory management, cooler/freezer stocking, and receiving/organizing food orders
