About The Position
Anam Memory Care is a warm and supportive assisted living community dedicated to caring for individuals living with dementia. Our mission is to provide compassionate, person-centered care that supports the mind, body, and spirit of every resident. We are growing and looking for a dependable Part-Time Cook to join our team and help create nutritious, enjoyable meals for our residents. The Part-Time Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking meals while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment. This role plays an important part in residents' daily comfort and well-being.
Requirements
- Self-motivated, dependable, and compassionate
- Ability to work well in a team environment and multitask
- 1+ year of food service or kitchen experience preferred
- Food Sanitation Certificate required
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in healthcare, assisted living, or senior care is a plus
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and dietary needs
- Ensure food is served in a timely and appealing manner
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, sanitation, and organization
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with food preparation, storage, and inventory as needed
- Work collaboratively with team members to support daily operations
