About The Position

Cedar Creek Hospital of Michigan is a beautiful and state of the art 72-bed facility. Cedar Creek provides evidence-based treatment to adolescents and adults struggling with mental health issues. Learn more about Cedar Creek Hospital online at: Cedar Creek Hospital Position Description Prepares and serves food for patients, staff, and visitors to meet their dietary needs. Cooks must be comfortable with scratch cooking, including fresh ingredients, and attention to detail and quality. Mains safe and sanitary conditions of work area and ensures food quality is at health regulation standards. Follows dietary and hospital safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries. Hours 10am-6:30pm, every other weekend and holiday rotation. Requirements

  • Experience as a cook or cook’s aide in an institutional setting is preferred
  • Must be able to follow oral and written instructions in order to operate food service equipment and follow direction
  • Must be able to complete assigned tasks in order to provide an efficient, safe, sanitary, attractive and orderly facility
