About The Position

The cook has high degree of responsibility with a minimum level of supervision. The cook performs a variety of food production duties based on production lists, recipes, menus, procedures and schedules. The position requires maintenance of sanitary working conditions at all times and the ability to follow directions carefully. Subject to varying and unpredictable situations Occasionally subjected to irregular hours and overtime Requires good judgment/action Exposure to heat, steam and cold

Requirements

  • High school diploma desired, but not required.
  • Minimum Experience: 1 year experience in volume cooking
  • Vision Requirements: Normal/Corrected Eyesight Regularly (67-100%)
  • Hearing: Normal Range Regularly (67-100%)
  • Standing/Walking: Regularly (67-100%)
  • Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling/Bending: Frequently (34-66%)
  • Lifting (25 lbs)/Pulling (25 lbs)/Carrying (25 lbs)/ Pushing (25 lbs): Regularly (67-100%)
  • Manual dexterity and mobility: Must be able to write, Type and use phone system. Regularly (67-100%)
  • Distinguish tastes and smells, distinguish temperature By touch Regularly (67-100%).
  • All physical lifting, pulling, pushing and carrying with assistance.

  • One year experience in a customer service/food service position
