Quick Hiring : Apply today and hear back within 48 hours What You'll Do: Review menus and prepare meals according to planned menus, therapeutic diet requirements, and alternative selections while adhering to sanitary and safety regulations. Collaborate with the dietitian to implement recommended changes and ensure proper meal preparation. Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked food storage and preparation areas, ensuring supplies are ready for each meal. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with CNAs and other team members to support smooth kitchen and resident operations. Participate in in-service programs and perform other duties as assigned to support the dietary department.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have at least 1 year of professional cooking experience
  • Maintains required competencies in accordance with state and federal regulations
  • Physically able to stand, sit, walk, bend, squat, and lift/carry up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds or more with assistance
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to interact effectively with residents, families, visitors, and team members
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and following instructions in English
  • Applicants for this position must be able to produce a negative drug test.
  • Applicants may be subject to a background check.
  • Employees in this position must be able to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position.

Responsibilities
