About The Position

South Shore Care Center is looking for a Cook to join the team! The position is full time and shifts are from 1:00pm to 8:00pm. The position is 65 hours a pay period. The ideal candidate for this position has previous cooking experience, enjoys working in a busy environment and is capable of taking direction well and multi-tasking effectively. Requirements

• Able to read and follow standardized recipes
• Able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen atmosphere
• Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures

Nice To Haves

• ServeSafe Certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate food inventories
• Rotate stock items as per established procedures
• Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift
• Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures
• Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items
• Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts
