About The Position

This position offers the opportunity to work as a Cook, preparing and serving delicious meals to residents in a senior living community, with shifts that allow you to be home by 9:00 PM. The role is located at Sagewood in Phoenix, AZ, a resort-style senior living community provided by Life Care Services, a premier provider in the nation. The culinary team focuses on delivering great food and making a difference in the lives of residents.

Requirements

• A passion for cooking
• A minimum of three years’ experience as a cook in a senior living community, hotel, restaurant, or club
• Ability to work an occasional weekend
• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs while working in a restaurant style kitchen
• Must pass drug screening and background checks for employment
• Must have Arizona Food Handlers Card

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve delicious meals to all Sagewood residents
• Operate a commercial kitchen, including prepping, cooking, and plating meals
• Maintain a sanitary and tidy kitchen
