About The Position

This position is for a Cook at Sagewood, a senior living and care community located in the beautiful NE Phoenix valley. The role involves preparing and serving delicious meals to all Sagewood residents. Candidates should utilize their skills and knowledge of how a commercial kitchen operates, including prepping, cooking, plating meals, and maintaining a sanitary and tidy kitchen. Sagewood is part of Life Care Services, a premier provider of senior living in the nation, offering a resort-style living environment.

Requirements

• A passion for cooking!
• A minimum of three years’ experience, as a cook in a senior living community, hotel, restaurant, or club
• Expect to work an occasional weekend
• Will be on your feet for extended periods of time
• Occasionally lift to 50lbs. working in a restaurant style kitchen
• Must pass drug screening and background checks for employment
• Must have Arizona Food Handlers Card

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve delicious meals to all Sagewood residents
• Utilize skills and knowledge of how a commercial kitchen operates
• Perform prepping, cooking, and plating meals
• Keep a sanitary and tidy kitchen
