Requirements

Proven experience as a cook or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Strong understanding of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and health and safety guidelines.
Ability to follow recipes accurately and replicate dishes consistently.
Keen eye for quality and presentation.
Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Ability to stand for extended periods and handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy items.
Works well with others and contributes to a positive team atmosphere.
Reliable, punctual, and professional.

Responsibilities

Execute dishes with precision and adherence to recipes.
Stay updated on menu items and kitchen techniques to consistently deliver the best.
Keep the kitchen and food preparation areas clean, organized, and sanitized.
Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
Properly store food and supplies, ensuring everything is labeled and stored at the correct temperatures.
Work efficiently to meet service demands while maintaining quality.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely service.
Assist with inventory management, including checking stock levels and reporting shortages.
Follow all food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure food is safe for consumption.
Regularly clean and maintain kitchen equipment.
Report any maintenance or safety issues to the General Manager promptly.
Exhibit a positive attitude and work ethic.
Communicate effectively with kitchen and dining staff.
Assist with training new team members as needed.
