What You’ll Do:

Requirements

  • Experience in food preparation (1-2 years preferred)
  • Ability to demonstrate commitment to guest relations
  • Proficiency in standard math and measurement
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Positive attitude and ability to handle a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in English to effectively communicate and complete required tasks, including training and documentation

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a large-scale or institutional food setting
  • Culinary school training or certification (preferred but not required)

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for food production process in the kitchen, ensuring meals are prepared safely, timely, and efficiently
  • Adhere to State, County, and Department food standards and regulations
  • Ensure meal quality and presentation meet expectations
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization, ensuring all health and safety standards are met
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to provide exceptional food service to residents
  • Handle food preparation, cooking, and serving with attention to detail and care
