About The Position

Description Key Responsibilities & Duties Meal Preparation: Cook and portion daily meals for patients with specific dietary restrictions (e.g., low sodium, diabetic, renal). Safety & Sanitation: Maintain high standards of food safety, cleaning, and sanitation in accordance with HAACP principles and Joint Commission/OSHA regulations. Menu Adherence: Follow standardized recipes and menus, ensuring accurate portion control for patient meals. Inventory Management: Monitor food inventory levels, stock, and rotate food supplies to ensure freshness. Collaboration: Coordinate with dietitians, nurses, and other kitchen staff to manage patient nutritional needs and tray services.
