Cook - Senior Living Facility Grand Villa of Deland is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Cook to join our team at our senior living community. Requirements

• Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting
• Knowledge of dietary restrictions and special meal preparation
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work days Monday through Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook nutritious, high-quality meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and residents’ preferences
• Ensure all food is prepared and presented in a clean, safe, and timely manner
• Maintain proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment
• Collaborate with the dining team to plan menus that meet nutritional and aesthetic standards
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies
