About The Position

Overview Come join Team Atlantis! We are currently accepting applications for Cooks. As a Cook at the Purple Parrot, you will play a pivotal role in creating and delivering exceptional dining experiences for our customers. Our establishment prides itself on serving classic American favorites with a diverse menu ranging from hearty breakfast options to satisfying lunches and dinners. Ful-Time, Swing Shift

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cook in a high-volume restaurant setting.
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy pots, pans, and trays.
• Comfortable working in a hot and fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds safely.
• Be able to stand for long periods of the time.
• Must be able to move freely in confined spaces.
• Must adhere to all appearance standards, including but not limited to no "visible" tattoos/piercings or unnatural hair and nail colors.

Nice To Haves

• Culinary degree or relevant culinary certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares dishes in an efficient manner in accordance to recipes and standards.
• Prepare food items while adhering to health department regulations.
• Know food and safety sanitation standards.
• Follow Atlantis Policies and Procedures.
• Produce a consistent and quality product.
• Other assignments as assigned my management.
