About The Position

Lorien Encore is currently seeking a Dietary Cook to join our culinary and nutrition services team. This role is ideal for a dependable, energetic cook who is passionate about food preparation, dietary compliance, and providing high-quality meals in a healthcare or senior living environment. We are looking for a cheerful, enthusiastic culinary professional who enjoys learning new cooking techniques and applying them within established dietary guidelines. The right candidate will take pride in their work, collaborate well with others, and help create a positive dining experience for our residents. Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Every other weekend availability required (Saturday & Sunday)

Nice To Haves

  • High School diploma or GED, a plus
  • Serve Safe Certification, a plus

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook meals in accordance with dietary requirements, physician orders, and sanitation standards
  • Perform batch cooking while maintaining food quality and consistencyFollow
  • Proper food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures
  • Demonstrate proper knife skills and safe equipment use
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant kitchen environment
