About The Position

Burnett Medical Center is currently hiring a Cook for their Dietary Department.

SHIFT & HOURS: 64 hours per pay period; 4:30am-1pm and 10am to 6:30pm, may include weekends/holidays.

This position is eligible for benefits which includes medical, dental, vision, employer-paid life insurance, employer-paid short-term disability, and up to a 3% match in our 401k retirement plan.

Requirements

• Cooking experience preferred.
• Teamwork.
• Ability to read and understand recipes, written instructions, and labels.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and serve daily meals as written.
• Works with dietary manager to plan cooking schedule.
• Observes modified diet textures and cafe meals.
• Serves main dish entrees on the tray line.
• Other duties as needed.
