About The Position

Evergreen Knoll, a trusted provider of assisted living and memory care services for seniors, is seeking Dietary Aides and Cooks. No prior experience is required—these are entry-level opportunities, and we’re committed to providing the training and support you need to succeed and grow as a valued member of our team. Cook Preparing and serving meals Ensuring meals are prepared and served in a timely manner Ensuring that the dining room and kitchen facilities are organized, clean, and presentable. Assuring appropriate food safety and sanitation techniques are utilized. Part-Time Cook: 2p–7p, including every other weekend. Cook Pay Rate: $19.00 Will need to have food safety certification within 3 months. Dietary Aide Assist with dining room set-up and clean-up Assist with meal preparation and distribution Help to maintain the kitchen and dining areas are clean and organized In all tasks, adhering to appropriate safety, food safety, and sanitation techniques and requirements Part-Time Dietary Aide: 2p (or after school)–7p, including every other weekend 2p-7p Dietary Aide Pay Rate: $15.00 We are excited to offer paid time off and a 403b retirement plan open to all employees, both effective immediately upon hire. For employees hired at 30+ hours/week we have great health insurance that offers a variety of coverage and cost levels, and dental and vision insurance. Full-time employees (40 hours/week) receive paid holidays!

Requirements

  • Will need to have food safety certification within 3 months.
  • In order to be able to clearly communicate with and provide appropriate care to our residents, as well as to complete all job tasks safely and as required, you must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • All employees must pass a criminal background study as determined solely by the State of Minnesota. We cannot employ anyone who does not successfully pass the background study.
