Compensation: New hires for this position typically start between $20.18 and $25.22 hourly/annually, depending on factors such as work location, experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, internal equity, and market conditions. While the full pay range is provided to support pay transparency, individual compensation will vary within the range based on these factors.

Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED and possess a valid WA state Food handler’s card.
  • Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver an excellent customer experience.
  • Proven experience in developing positive relationships and handling customers’ needs.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly in English.
  • ServeSafe Certified.
  • Must have 3 years commercial cooking experience in large quantity meal setting.
  • Experience with developing basic menus and recipes for hospitals and institutions.

Nice To Haves

  • At least 1 years’ experience in food service account management or restaurant management.

Responsibilities

  • The primary responsibilities of the cook are to prepare meals from scratch following exact recipes and specifications using a variety of cooking methods while following all food safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Other primary responsibilities include filling customer orders to 100% through proper measurements, portion control, product labeling and staging methods
