About The Position

A Cook Supervisor is responsible for supervising kitchen operations and food preparation activities in accordance with established recipes, brand standards, and food safety guidelines, while supporting the hotel’s ongoing commitment to outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and assist in the preparation of food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
  • Ensure all kitchen staff comply with cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards at all times
  • Support and manage guest orders in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of menus, recipes, and all food products
  • Oversee stocking and maintenance of designated food stations
  • Inspect all food leaving the kitchen to ensure presentation, portioning, and quality standards are met
  • Enforce proper food handling and storage procedures in compliance with federal, state, local, and company regulations
  • Assist with training, coaching, and mentoring kitchen team members
  • Prepare and review requisitions for food and supplies as needed
  • Communicate effectively with culinary leadership regarding staffing, inventory, and operational needs
