The Savory Supervisor will be a leader for the team in our savory kitchen, working to ensure proper execution of all Savory items, from prep to final product. The Supervisor must be able to communicate clearly with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef Team to keep kitchen operations running smoothly. This position requires strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The main objective is to support the hourly team members to execute job responsibilities throughout the shift and additionally, the individual may be responsible for the completion of tasks related to (and to support) management. Job Design: The Supervisor will be assigned to a primary location, but may be asked to work at alternate locations if the need should arise. The goal of this position is to familiarize the individual with management practices and procedures to best prepare them to move into a salaried management position in the future. The Supervisor is expected to maintain a full-time (35+ hour) work schedule and will be scheduled to work in this position part-time for 3-4 shifts per week, while the remaining 1-2 shifts may be worked in any other BOH department in which the individual is trained. In the event of extended management needs, this position may increase to full time solely in the Supervisor position.
