About The Position

SAGE Dining Services is seeking reliable Cook, Sous Chef and PM COOK at private college in the Boston in Brookline, MA overlooking the city. Here you will be a part of a team with scratch-cooked food that is exciting, nutritious, and sustainable food. We provide continuous training to enable you to rise within our organization. A Sous Chef oversees a kitchen operations, managing staff, and ensuring food quality and safety standards are met. Key responsibilities involve menu planning and creation, staff training and scheduling, inventory and supply ordering, and preparing dishes. A successful sous chef needs strong culinary skills, leadership, and multitasking abilities. A cook is responsible for preparing food, including prepping ingredients, cooking dishes according to recipes, and plating meals. Key duties also include maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen, following all health and safety procedures, and managing inventory or supplies. Cooks may specialize in certain cooking methods like grilling or frying and often work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. At SAGE, food and people come first.
