About The Position

Marysville Public Schools is accepting applications for the position of Cook. Desired qualifications may include any or all of the following: High School diploma or GED preferred; Compliance with testing and/or certifications as required by the state, health department, or the district (successful completion required for continued employment); Familiar with Health Department rules and regulations; Ability to lift 10 – 30 lbs. on a regular basis, without restrictions; Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on an occasional basis, without restrictions; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to interact with customers in order to assure customer satisfaction; Prepare food in accordance with Chartwell’s standards; Maintain proper and accurate records, including daily production records and charts; Responsible for ensuring proper presentation, standard portion control, and maintenance of proper serving temperatures (hot and cold); Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; Regular and consistent attendance; Support administrative staff as needed; Ability to organize and store deliveries; Ability to multitask various programs at once.
