About The Position
Come Join the Dordt Dining Team! Creative Dining Services located on the Dordt University campus in Sioux Center, IA is looking to hire a full-time Pizza Cook to work Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. The Cook ensures that high quality, properly seasoned, nutritious food is being provided in a safe manner. The Cook works cooperatively as a valued member of the dining services team. Come and be creative! Each day is different and exciting!
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 2 years cooking experience preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- ServSafe Certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Time food production such that all food is ready at the time of service
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and menus
- Utilize safe food handling techniques at all times
- Maintain a safe, tidy and well-organized work environment at all times
- Support other kitchen employees
