This role goes beyond traditional back-of-house cooking—our kitchen supports a wide range of modern foodservice offerings including a dual-line buffet cafeteria, a full salad bar, a grab‑and‑go market, and hot food production. You may also support our in-house coffee shop, prepare items for catered events, and help maintain multiple hydrobars stocked with snacks and specialty coffee machines. Requirements

  • 1–2 years of line cook or food preparation experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multitask‑heavy environment.
  • Basic knife skills and familiarity with food safety standards.
  • Comfortable learning new stations such as coffee service, salad bar maintenance, and buffet setup.
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and a focus on guest experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare hot and cold menu items for daily service, following standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Assist with production for the dual‑line buffet cafeteria, including proteins, sides, soups, and global cuisine features.
  • Build fresh salads and replenish items on a full salad bar with attention to quality and consistency.
  • Assemble grab‑and‑go offerings such as sandwiches, wraps, parfaits, snacks, and meal kits.
  • Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment.
  • Prepare specialty beverages and support general coffee shop service as needed.
  • Stock and monitor hydrobars with snacks, packaged beverages, and self‑service coffee equipment.
  • Assist with event prep, including hors d'oeuvres, hot entrées, boxed lunches, or displays.
  • Support setup and breakdown for catered meetings, trainings, and executive events.
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and allergen‑handling procedures at all times.
  • Maintain clean workstations and contribute to overall kitchen cleanliness.
  • Assist with inventory rotation, labeling, and restocking.
  • Collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth service during peak periods.
