About The Position

Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Cook I who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. As a Cook I you will: Responsible for cooking food and following standardized recipes 100% of the time Responsible for preparing food Responsible for adhering to HACCP guidelines. Responsible for Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points Must follow Department Policies and Procedures on cleaning Other Duties as Assigned

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• 1 to 2 years food service experience
• ServSafe or be able to pass ServSafe within 60 days
• Cook 1 must be able to be assigned in main Cooks roles, AM or PM Trayline Cook, Cafe Cook, or Mid Cook & Prep.
• May be asked to perform in other roles such as Cold Production, Retail, or Food Service Worker roles in relief.
