About The Position

Kiddie Academy of Arlington is seeking a reliable and dedicated Cook/Driver to join our team in Arlington, TN. This dual-role position involves preparing nutritious meals for children and staff as well as safely transporting students as needed. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong cooking skills, a clean driving record, and a passion for supporting early childhood education in a nurturing environment.

Requirements

Previous cooking experience, preferably in a childcare or educational setting.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Must have F endorsement or Commercial License}
Ability to manage time effectively and multitask between cooking and driving duties.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Pass background checks and comply with local childcare regulations.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle kitchen equipment safely.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve meals and snacks in compliance with health and safety standards and dietary guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
Plan, shop for, and manage inventory of food and kitchen supplies to ensure freshness and availability.
Drive children and staff safely to and from designated locations as required.
Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and fueled.
Follow all driving laws and guidelines to maintain safety at all times.
Collaborate with staff to accommodate special dietary needs and schedules.
