Kiddie Academy of Arlington is seeking a reliable and dedicated Cook/Driver to join our team in Arlington, TN. This dual-role position involves preparing nutritious meals for children and staff as well as safely transporting students as needed. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong cooking skills, a clean driving record, and a passion for supporting early childhood education in a nurturing environment. Requirements
- Previous cooking experience, preferably in a childcare or educational setting.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must have F endorsement or Commercial License
- Ability to manage time effectively and multitask between cooking and driving duties.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Pass background checks and comply with local childcare regulations.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle kitchen equipment safely.
Nice To Haves
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks in compliance with health and safety standards and dietary guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
- Plan, shop for, and manage inventory of food and kitchen supplies to ensure freshness and availability.
- Drive children and staff safely to and from designated locations as required.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and fueled.
- Follow all driving laws and guidelines to maintain safety at all times.
- Collaborate with staff to accommodate special dietary needs and schedules.
